Magnets make mattresses more effective (Magnetic Mattress Pad)

Magnetic Mattress Pad

The magnet manufacturers claim that their mattress magnetic mattress pads emit a "field of sleep" soothing increases circulation and relieves joint and muscle pain. Although I was skeptical, mattress magnets really have any tangible effect.

10 years ago, I worked on a project for the late renowned cardiologist Demetrio Sodi Pallares-(1913-2003). Mr. Sodi, as we called him, spent much of the last 30 years of his medical practice to treat hopeless cases for free in a home office he had built, much to the chagrin of his wife and his need sweater with local civilians, most of its swimming pool and front yard. Before starting her own clinic free, Dr. Sodi has been a professor at UCLA, Michigan, and Baylor, and has published over 300 articles in medical literature.

One of the most effective tools of the physician, in 1965, was actually a magnetic mattress - made to exacting specifications under the supervision of an electrical engineer, he had full-time on his stick. (Mr. Sodi was not in financial difficulty.) As he documented in his books, and to me personally, daily treatment with a magnetic mattress could not only increase traffic in some cases it was part effective treatment of angina pectoris, or congestive heart failure.

But not when used by itself.

The key to success with the magnetic mattress, Mr. Sodi was discovered, was to have a compatible electrolyte balance in the bloodstream. In most cases, this meant a diet low in salt. For reasons explained by Mr. Sodi was in a treaty of 300 pages and in several publications (and to a therapy endorsed by the American Heart Association in 1998), magnetic therapy works best when the cells are not electrically discharged by sodium.

How it works?

Each cell in the human body has a slight (-4 mV to -90 mV) drop across its outer membrane. The negative charge using electrolytes and attract positively charged proteins, negatively charged nutrients generally require active transport process. News sodium salt of positively charged ions (negatively charged ions and chlorine are preferably excreted). Too much positive charge and there is stress on the airframe. Remove the electrical stress on the cell, Dr. Sodi believed, and magnet therapy can work optimally.

So if you invest in a magnetic mattress, especially if you're going to spend a few thousand dollars on a fully integrated magnetic mattress, boost your chances of success with a diet low in sodium. Avoid cheese, pickles, canned foods and smoked meats and fish. Get plenty of potassium from fruits and vegetables. Discipline your food will be rewarded with a much more sensitive from magnet therapy.
